FujiFilm has done it again ! Polaroid Co. kept this guys under their shadow by giving them only their patent for making analog instant cameras while they moved to Digital instant cameras. FujiFilm is something who complete with bigger fish like Canon and Nikon in camera market and they are good at doing better with technology than Polaroid. They started making better quality photo paper then Polaroid when they released Instax 210 camera and improve things with their Mini Film and Instax Mini Camera series.
Now FujiFilm has come up with another Instant Camera which has made a high impact on market. Another Analog Instant camera but this time its lot better and high end than other Instax cameras in Mini series. This is not another cheap instant camera. This camera has some new features none of other instant cameras in market has. New Instax camera is Fujifilm Instax Mini 90 camera. It will be appear in USA and UK shops from end of this year (2013) or in first quarter of 2014.
New Features of Instax Mini 90 camera,
- Double Exposure mode.
- Valve mode for photographing light trails and night scenes.
- Kids mode for moving objects.
- 10-second exposure.
- Multiple exposures.
- Shutter speeds up to 1/400 per second.
- 30cm-60cm Macro photography.
- Comes with a 60mm f/12 lens.
- Rechargeable li-ion battery.
- User Instax Mini Film.
This instant Camera is not a simple model with basic functions like older Mini series models. Fuji Instax Mini 90 is aimed for high end market where people willing to pay more for better photo quality. Comparing with their Japan price tag We can guess US and International price will be around $200.
Mini 90 camera would be great for Lomography fans for having it in their camera collection. It has some nice features like double exposure mode which can take some cool creative things. Maybe it will be not same as expecting unpredictable result but if you want higher quality photo this camera can do it.
